May Dinner Meeting Review
Thank you to all those in attendance. Key-note speaker Kendal Wright’s presentation, “Success-FUL Leadership in the 21st Century Organization” was powerful and engaging. By utilizing “Diversity” as a general theme, Mr. Wright was able to introduce the many individual, team, and organizational approaches and tools for development of leadership that are available through his company, Entelechy Training and Development, Inc. 2005/ 2006 Dinner Meetings
As noted at the May Dinner Meeting, the Hilton LAX has informed ISM-LA of a cost increase for the 2005/2006 program year that would require ISM to increase our dinner meeting registration fees by at least $10.00. As such, in order to keep the cost neutral, the Board recommended the transition to the Hilton Garden Inn LAX/El Segundo, which we believe will be an excellent alternative.
Price
Dinner meeting registration costs will be held at current levels.
Location/ Freeway Access
Hotel is located roughly ½ mile south of the 105 Freeway via the Nash Exit and ½ mile east of Sepulveda on Mariposa. See Mapquest link.
Parking
Plenty of free outdoor parking
Convenience
Hotel is much smaller and easier to navigate than the Hilton LAX and will be able to host ISM-LA in their main, easy to access banquet room every month.
